Painting Steering wheel emblem surround

I'm wanting to remove the silver circle around the Renault badge on the steering wheel. Was just wondering if anyone has removed this? I'm guessing it's just stuck on but don't want to damage it if it's not easily removed.

Ive not seen it been done.

Its problay glued in. You could try heating it with a hair dryer for a while to see if it loosens, then you will know.

no it glue on, you will damage it if you get it off.

Ah pants. Might try with the gun quick and see as it'll soon be the only silver thing in there.

A tryed to romve mine and do the same by prising with a screwdriver but never managed to get it off

You could extremely carefully mask around the ring and spray it in situ??
