whats best alloy cleaner to use?

As per other trhead, Bilberry is £9 overpriced - get some AS Smart Wheels as your main cleaner. For brake dust pitting, look for Wolf Chemicals Deironiser, which is similar to Iron-X, but nearly half the price!

Once clean, protect them

Thanks Russ the Wolf stuff is what I just been looking at on P/Bliss site next purchase for me

ALDI ! thats right.

While it certainly may not be the best around aldi have an auto xs alloy cleaning kit for £1.99. You get a aplicator brush (small paint brush), a wheel brush (the agitator kind) and the liquid itself of which there is about 500ml if i remember right.

Not sure how acidic it is but it says dont handle with bare hands.

Not great at removing stubborn dirt but decent enough if you clean your wheels every few days to a week as i do (white speedline owner).

Plus, its £1.99.

the only down side is if your short on space is you end up collecting a lot of wheel brushes.

i got 5 ltrs of wonder wheels for 10 pound, its real good a cleaning the wheels. halfords do the same tub for 30 pound. guess i got a good deal:thumbup:
