K&N Apollo experience?

Hi all,

I'm a new Clio 200 Cup owner (I love it by the way) and have been offered a K&N Apollo in as new condition by a workmate, who had it fitted to his wife's 197 F1.

Couplel of questions - is it compatible with a 200? (I assume so). Is it worth fitting? (I'm not fussed about engine noise, exhaust is loud enough as it is!). Also - if I do like it (I've been lent it on spec) - how much to offer? They seem astonishingly expensive new!

Thanks!

197 and 200 are practically the same. Not sure how much to offer I'm usually a bit of tight arse and offer around 30 percent off the new price.

I bought my clio 197 and it had one fitted, it was really grunty in low down revs and pretty loud after that. I then took it off after 3 months and replaced it with a K&N panel filter and I would recommend the panel filter over the apollo to be honest. the apollo was fun though but seems to run better without it

You will loose HP if you use anything other than ktec induction kit, itg maxogen or v6 air box.

Just upgrade the standard panel filter.
