Mpg sorry for all the questions guys

Hey thanks allot for all your help so far and I'm hoping I will get the chance to return the favour I am currently in the process of buying a 2006 197.
My question is what mpg do they do around town and in other situation and what milage do you do on a full tank

I used to average around 24mpg on my old mk3, averaged 31mpg on a tank once but I really did drive like a granny. Was usually around 200-230miles to a tank.

Look just buy a Meg 32/33 run 45/48. On a 250

Poor A roads/decent B roads mainly. On a motorway about 5 times a year (not many of them in Northern Ireland) though I never sit in traffic. And I mean never.

Must be the way I drive as I used to get 31mpg from a Focus ST before the Clio.

i did a 70 ish mile trip on A roads and motorway and saw 38. that was on cruise the whole way at 67

I do mainly country roads and a bit of the a34 and currently on 30.3mpg and get just under 400miles for a full tank.

I went from a 2.0tdi doing 55-60mpg to a clio 200 averaging 27.9mpg! And tbh I've never relie Thot about it yeah it's less than half of what I used to get but heyho

To be honest I wouldn't worry yourself, they really are the cheapest way to go fast and it really doesn't add up to much difference at the end of the day Plus you'll enjoy driving more...
