Mpg sorry for all the questions guys

People are getting some pretty impressive figures here! Never dropping below 31mpg!

To be honest I think I could drive a lot more economically when cruising/commuting, I just don't really think about it. For example at 30mph the car is quite happy to cruise in 6th at about 1500rpm, but i'll be in 4th and nearer 3000rpm.

As my car still has an annoying rattle at ~ 2500rpm so I don't go above 2200 around town and get past this point as quickly as possible on to the motorways! Haven't had a spirited drive since it developed a few things that bug me so lately it's on 30.6 not bad for around town with the odd 10 mile motorway run

Get 9L/100km (26mpg) realistically and 8/100 (29mpg) if I'm really careful and dont do over 65 on the motorway.
Had the car for 650km now. On winter tires and probably brake piston stuck, so could improve.
50kmh in 6th still only gives >6L/100km. (39mpg)
