pothole advice again

I drove over a huge pothole and got a flat spot on my alloy, wheel bearing needs attention and damaged the top suspension mount. I have got the mount fixed and wheel bearing but wondered could I still claim from the council?


A similar thing happened 3 years ago and the council told me to measure the pothole, picture and draw the road and then said they can not be held responsible.

Did you take a picture of the offending pothole?

I would be putting a claim in if it was me?

Had something similar happen to me a few years ago. As above advice you will need photographic evidence. I took a photo of that days news paper in the hole. I claimed for two burst fork seals on my bike along with new pads for the two front discs and the labour. Council sent a loss adjuster round but paid out in full. Hope you have the same luck I did.
