what do i do, i ordered a rs200 with recaro's amd black speedlines, its just turned up with white speedlines?

the dealer (southend toomey) has said if i dont like it i will have to wait 3 months for a new one to be ordered with black speedlines?

they wont just order the black wheels :-(

i like them personally mate but its upto you its your car!! if you want the black speedlines then wait ive got black they look good but the white ones are nice!!!
 
its not worth waiting another 3 months just for some black speedlines mate,

black speedlines do look great on a white 200 but so do white speedlines and its also very different as well.

i say keep it.
 
i got a white clio 197 at the moment with black spedlines and love it so i ordered the 200 the same + recaros!!

i asked if they could put my black ones on the new car and they said it will cost the body-shop to much time to swap 8 wheels and tyres over and they couldn't charge me for the optional speed lines because i havent had them!!

i just dunno what to do..
my gf hates the white speedlines and i dont wanna wait 3 months!!!:@!

they also wont order a set of black ones in because of the cost on there own but i think they should its there cock up!
 
wow it looks incredible with the white speedlines!
if your want black ones tho, kick up a proper fuss, its the dealers error not yours. you could try and get in touch with renault uk and see what they can do. If not get a quote for them to be powder coated and request the money from them as it's their fault

Swap of 2 sets of wheels takes what? 20 minutes? Can´t you change them yourself? From your old 197 to the new 200? Or did I misunderstood something?
 
If you want the black wheels tell them you want the black ones on it or youll cancell your order completly, then watch them move their a**e then lol like someones already said its there mistake or tell them you want the wheels changed over from your 197 to your 200 have you want reinbursment for your inconvience. should have come to have come to basildon toomeys mate were better than southend lol

I agree, if the don't change them just cancel your order, they will quickly come round.
 
i cant believe the dealer are being so inconsiderate considering it is their mistake - i do like the white wheels though!
 
They will need to change the tyres over too!

Yea begining to wish I did go Basildon one now!!
Can't belive they could make a cock up between black and White!!

I said to the bloke , I'll except the White if you chuck in the spoiler and he said no!

I got till monday to decide ..
 
£250 to get them colour changed - and the wheel specialist i use will remove and refit/balance the wheels in that price

tell them black wheels or you want the cost to have the colour changed - cash in pocket - then you can always change your mind later - tell em its a deal breaker otherwise :wink:
 
as mentioned by rights you could cancel your order with full refund, If you want black wheels they will most definitely get them powder coated or sap them for a black set,

Dealers will nearly always try it on to begin with but its rarely worth loosing a sale over,

swap them yourself.
or
live with the white if in a few months she still hates them get them powdercoated yourself for £200-£250
 
no no no no no. White and black combo is the winner. Id be kicking up a fuss mate.

No offence to white speedline owners on a white car, but it looks a little washed out to me.
