Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

Day 1 surgery was a resounding success and the patient has a strong heart-beat, good vital signs and an obvious will to survive...

Once the anaesthetic wears off overnight - its straight in for some cosmetic work tomorrow morning.

Ready for getting the tits ragged off it on the way home tomorrow night. Mwaaaaaahahahahaha

Sheeeeez your a tough crowd last night and today ! I'd love to report / post pics......but couldnt until it was back in my hands

Cambelt etc went well. Garage reckoned it was "easier" than a 172/182....(More space ???) and they looked after my car supremely well as always. Charge was basically £300 for the cambelt, aux-belt, water-pump,de-phaser, cam-seals, tensioner etc with new coolant. That also included swapping steering wheels over and checking out a slight knock on my exhaust.[Extra £25 shown i'd already paid for gearbox oil renew - but forgot a receipt). Pretty fair i'd say.......

Anyway, no issues, running great, might sound a little quieter i think - and more to the point i can tuck this into the service history contented now:

And steering wheel looks good. Doesn't revolutionise the car, but feels good and fits in well, Alcantara is fab (Cheers Chris .....and hopefully thats job done for good on that one.

Orange interior thing looks like being complete Wednesday now as im still waiting on a few more bits. Got dash-decals posted eventually today as my first port of call for these let me down completely.

So here was the mock-up i got sent:
